STOVE PROBLEMS

WON’T TURN ON/IGNITE

If your electric stove won’t turn on, make sure that the appliance is plugged in and the circuit breakers are turned on. Check the pilot light for gas models. If these are OK and the problem persists, call us for same day repairs. The cause will be the infinite switch, oven burner igniter, surface element, or bake and broil element. We fix this problem on major stove brands.

BURNER/OVEN WON’T HEAT

When your oven won’t heat, there is usually a broken bake element or a malfunctioning oven sensor. A burner won’t turn on or heat when an element is broken or the terminal block or the burner switch does not work. We repair these common issues in less than 1-2 hours after arriving at for the service call.

TIMER/PROGRAM ISSUES

When the timer or program settings do not work, you can assume that the control board on your stove is broken. We can replace control boards for LG, Sears, GE, Kenmore and other major brands of stoves and ranges. We provide a warranty on all control boards and other parts we use for this oven repair job.

OVEN IS TOO HOT

You need a hot oven. But it should not get too hot! When the temperature is out of control the food burns. This is usually because of a broken thermostat or sensor. Our certified repairmen will diagnose the problem and repair it. Do not try to fix this problem on your own because the job can be dangerous for an untrained person!

IGNITER WON’T LIGHT

A common problem with stoves is that an igniter glows but does not light. This is caused by a broken safety valve, surface igniter, electronic control or temperature sensor. We will examine the issue to see whether we can repair these parts or replacement is needed. We can fix this problem the day that you call us.

DOOR WON’T OPEN

Door problems with newer self-cleaning models of ovens are surprisingly common. The cleaning cycle and the door will not open. We will examine the door latch, thermostat and seal to determine why the door does not open and then make the needed repairs.
